Sunday RIB – Foraging & Spearfishing Apnea & Scuba welcome Scallops • Lobsters • Crayfish • Fish Meet 14:00 • Depart 15:00 Max 10 participants £45 pp (boat only) Post-trip BBQ • BYOB

Overview: Weekly Sunday run by RIB to productive coastal reefs, kelp beds, and sandy patches for ethical foraging and selective spearfishing. Target species include scallops, lobsters, crayfish, and seasonal fish. Sites are chosen on the day for the best conditions and visibility.

Format: 1–2 in-water sessions (apnea or scuba). Return to Passage House for a relaxed bring-your-own-booze BBQ — we’ll fire up the grill; you bring your catch and extras.

  • Who: Confident snorkelers/freedivers and certified scuba divers with recent cold-water experience. Buddy teams encouraged.
  • Depth & Conditions: Typically 0–18 m; gentle to moderate current possible. Weather/tide dependent.
  • Included: RIB space, skipper, surface safety cover, basic first aid & O₂, BBQ grill/charcoal at base.
  • Not included: Tanks, fills, scuba kit, spearfishing gear, foraging tools, parking, food, plates/cutlery.
  • Price: £45 per participant — boat ride only.
  • Meet & Brief: Passage House (Sound Diving), 14:00. Depart 15:00. Back for BBQ approx. {RETURN ETA}.
  • Bring (recommended):
    • Apnea: 5–7 mm wetsuit, hood, gloves, long fins, mask & snorkel, weight belt, knife, catch bag/stringer.
    • Scuba: Drysuit or thick wetsuit, DSMB & spool, dive knife, catch bag, gloves, torch.
    • All: Warm layers for the boat, personal food/drinks, BYOB for BBQ.

Ethics & Catch: We practice selective, sustainable harvest. Know and follow local size/seasonal limits and protected species rules. Take only what you’ll eat. We reserve the right to refuse undersized/protected catch at the BBQ.

Important Safety & Conduct: No alcohol before or during water activities. Weather/sea state dependent; site may change or trip may be rescheduled for safety. Minimum numbers apply. 48-hour cancellation policy. Maximum 10 participants.
